Air Cargo & Flight Nanny Service

For longer distances, we offer air travel options to get your puppy to you quickly and safely.

  • Flight Nanny Service: A trained handler flies with your puppy in-cabin and hands them directly to you at your nearest major airport.

  • Air Cargo: For areas where flight nanny service is not available, we can ship your puppy via pet-safe cargo programs used by major airlines.

  • Average Cost: $250–$900 depending on location and airline

  • Health & Safety Requirements:

    • Veterinary health certificate within 10 days of travel

    • Airline-approved crate for cargo travel

    • Temperature restrictions may apply

Local Pick Up

We always welcome families to visit and pick up their puppy directly from our farm home.

Ground Delivery (U.S. Mainland)

If traveling to us isn’t possible, we offer professional, USDA-compliant ground transport to get your Catahoula puppy safely to your home.

We partner with trusted pet transport companies that specialize in puppy delivery. These services use climate-controlled vehicles and make frequent stops for feeding, hydration, and potty breaks.

Ground Delivery Details:

Our principles and care stay the same, no matter how you receive your puppy, they will come with:

  • Veterinary health certificate confirming they are fit to travel

  • Starter food to help with diet transition

  • Care instructions for feeding, training, and puppy-proofing your home

  • Registration paperwork (if applicable)

  • A familiar blanket or toy carrying the scent of their mother and littermates for comfort during the first nights

  • Payment: All balances must be paid in full before pick up or shipping arrangements are finalized.

About

The Catahoula’s eyes are just as striking as its coat. While some have brown eyes, “glass” eyes—pale blue, almost white in appearance—are more common. Blue, green, and amber are also frequent, and many Catahoulas have different-colored eyes. Some even have two colors in the same eye, either in a “cracked” pattern or a spotted effect.

This breed weighs 50 to 95 pounds and stands up to 24 inches at the withers. Muscular yet agile, they have broad skulls, defined cheekbones, and long snouts with a normal bite. Their uncropped ears hang in angular folds beside the cheeks, and their long, tapered tails are carried high and should remain undocked.
